Kalibobo light house is one of most beautiful spots in Madang, PNG. The LH is directly facing the entrance to the harbor guiding ships at night to the beautiful bay and one of the beautiful places you would see when your flight descending to Beauitul Madang. Pali Lookout area is a very sacred place to Hawaiians. This is the site of the last battle that united the islands of Hawaii under King Kamehameha. It was these hills that the king and warriors of Oahu fought with great determination against an on coming army led by King Kamehameha from Hawaii Island. Kualoa beach park is a big park where one would find the time to meditate and deep in the blue sea. Out in the reef is the "Chinaman's Hut" an island that looks like a chinese hut. The beauty of the park is a combination of high rocky mountains you see in the pic, the coconut trees, and the green grass and trees around the area. A place you can't miss if you are in Hawaii. A nice place to visit if you are in Hawaii. The bay is under the care of the State of Hawaii and it is protected. You could hire snorkel equipments and check out the reef, but don't go too far. The beach is a busy place so if you plan to visit that place better be there early. Pic taken 2004
Kids performing contemporary Hula at the Bishop Museum, Honolulu. The museum housed the records of christianity in Hawaii during the first contact and also preserve various Hawaii crafts and other traditional things. Pic April 2004.
Sea Life Park is one of the best tourist attraction centers in Oahu. This isolated park is made popular by Adam Sandler and Drew in their movie 50 First Dates. Right behind me is where Penguins bath and to the right is the Dolphins pool. Pic taken April 2004
Banzi beach where the World Surfing Competition held every year. This is the beautiful Northshore beach about 10 minutes drive from Polynesian Cultural Center. The movie Blue Crush was shot here and another spot on the other side called the Sunset beach.
Polynesian Cultural Center (PCC) is located in Laie, Hawaii. I used to work here as a student dancing for a the New Zealand Maori group. The center is 48 acres and it is adjacent to the Brigham young University Hawaii. 70% of the the employees come from this institution and majority of them are foreigners.
Stopped and turned into an Art Festival in a Malibu play ground. This Malibu area is infested with multi-million dollar celebrity homes mostly on hills overlooking the Pacific Ocean. This is a very expensive place. Artists and musicians displayed their products in this Festival. This duo played Spanish music which moved me into tears! July 2004
The Venice Beach, a 15 mins walk or so from the Santa Monica Piers, is a market of all kinds of stuff. This market reminds me of a real Melanesian market. In fact, this market and the Santa Monica Piers were made popular by Holly Wood in the movie cellular. Photo taken 2004
Universal Studio is a beautiful Holly Wood attraction center. I couldn't resist a picture on the Arnold's motor bike used in the moview "Terminator". The Background color is beautiful and paper robots standing in front of me were bloody fiercesome, and were ugly enough to scare the crap out of me. Taken July 2004
In front of the Chinese Square HW actors left their foot and finger palm prints on their ground. This is where Cris Tucker (Carter) brought Jacky Chan (Lee) to see John Waynes' foot prints in the moview "Rush Hour".
Holly Wood is a small town in Los Angeles, but its reputation as a celebrity town makes it one of the places many people yearned to visit. Along Holly Wood streets from both side of the main road are stars dedicated to the men and women who made this city famous. I took a photo with John Travolta's star, one of my best actors.
